Council Position 8 discussed
what they would do if elected
A lively conversation between four of the Position 8 candidates covered the future of Evans Pool and Green Lake Community Center, transit and transportation in the Green Lake Urban Village, homeless encampments and solutions, land use density and livability, and Green Lake park safety and maintenance.
In addition to the candidates forum, Richard Fleming reported on Friends of Green Lake, Brian DeLuca discussed the status of the FOGL path marker project, and the Green Lake Branch Librarian talked about summer programs for children, teens, and adults.

Green Lake Community Council meets on the second Wednesday of odd-numbered months at The Hearthstone, 6720 East Green Lake Way North next to Nell’s Restaurant. The Hearthstone is the only high-rise on Green Lake. Carpooling, walking, biking and transit options are encouraged since parking is limited, especially during summer months.
