Hear from City Council Candidates in Moderated Forum

District 6 Voters Get First Chance to Hear from City Council Candidates in Moderated Forum

SOS is hosting the first city candidate forums in the 2019 elections. This will make it easy for everyday voters to get engaged, learn about the candidates, inform the candidates on what issues are most important and to use their Democracy Vouchers to support their candidates who align with their values.Their first forum was held March 21st in West Seattle (District 1). All candidates participated and there was standing room only with an overflow outside. View on youtube.

You are invited to come to the District 6 Forum on April 23, 2019 At the Phinney Neighborhood Association from 7 to 8:30 PM.

The Phinney Neighborhood Association (Community Room in the Brick Building), 6615 Dayton Avenue N.  SOS is holding its fifth forum to hear from the candidates for Seattle District Council Position 6 on issues relating to public safety, homelessness and other top issues. The event will be moderated by an independent moderator and the candidates will be staying after the event to talk to constituents and accept donations and/or vouchers.  Only one candidate out has declined to participate and one is still trying to work out a conflict, so at least 9 candidates will be there.

Hope to see you there. You can RSVP to SOS.
