Concerned about transit in the Green Lake Neighborhood? Join Green Lake Community Council at 7 pm this Wednesday January 10 at The Hearthstone and get the lowdown.
We are excited to welcome Vice Chair of the King County Council and Chair of the Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee, Rod Dembowski who will be presenting and available to answer your questions. A representative from King County Metro will also be in attendance. If you take the bus, park, drive, or otherwise regularly travel to and from the Green Lake neighborhood, this will be a great opportunity for you
to learn and ask questions.
Take a look at our recent post on transportation and growth of the Green Lake Urban Village for more food for thought.
Green Lake Community Council meetings are open to the public. People residing or operating a business near Green Lake are encouraged to attend and consider running
for the board.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of odd-numbered months at The Hearthstone, 6720 East Green Lake Way North at the corner of 1st Ave NE. This is the only high-rise on Green Lake and is near Nell’s Restaurant. Consider carpooling, walking or taking transit since parking can be limited.
If you have another burning issue you want to address, send an email to email@example.com.
Thanks to the Hearthstone for hosting our meeting!
